Judgement Day is a joint event by Feller, FYBE, spaice and Erasmus University. Because the four parties have an equal role, the event needed its own look and feel.

A page within the website and brand identity of one of the organisations wasn't a fit. At the same time, the need went beyond just an invitation and a standalone landing page.

A central environment was needed in which visitors could register, participants were followed up automatically and the organisation could easily manage all relevant information.

The challenge was therefore clear:

How do we develop a visually strong and independent event environment for four collaborating parties, including registration, communication and management?:

our solution

We started by developing a visual identity of its own for Judgement Day. A style that matched the character of the event, but was deliberately separate from the individual brand identities of Feller, FYBE, spaice and Erasmus University.

Within this style, we designed a digital invitation with all relevant information about the event. The four parties could then distribute this invitation themselves via email and WhatsApp, among other channels.

Based on the same visual foundation, we developed a complete, dynamic website for Judgement Day.

It wasn't meant to be a static landing page, but rather an AI-driven environment that can be quickly adapted and expanded. Copy, components, interactions and functionality can therefore be developed further far more efficiently than in a traditional development process.

The website is hosted on its own subdomain, so Judgement Day has an independent digital environment, without any of the three organising partners gaining the visual upper hand.

A complete platform behind the website

Behind the website, we built a custom admin environment in which all registrations come together centrally.

Here, the organisation has direct insight into relevant participant information, such as name, contact details, company, job title and registration date. In addition, we added a few questions to the registration form, and the answers to these can also be viewed in the back end.

The full participant list can be managed from the platform and exported as a CSV file. This means the organisation doesn't have to work with separate forms, documents or manually maintained participant lists.

All relevant information is clearly organised in one place and immediately available to the parties involved.

The communication around registrations is also part of the platform.

As soon as someone registers via the website, the registration is automatically saved in the admin environment. The participant then immediately receives a confirmation email.

In addition, a reminder email has been prepared from the same environment and is sent at a pre-set time.

As a result, the organisation doesn't have to keep track manually of who has registered, which confirmations have been sent or when participants need to be contacted again. The entire flow is set up in advance and then runs automatically.

The strength of the solution lies not only in the fact that we used AI during development.

The website also stays flexible after launch. Changes to content, design and functionality can, for example, be implemented quickly, without needing an extensive development process for every change.

That makes the environment not only efficient to build, but also easy to manage and develop further.

In short, for Judgement Day we didn't build a standalone website and then connect various systems to it. From the start, we looked at the entire process around the event, from the invitation and the online look and feel to registration, communication, data and management at the back end.

By combining strategy, design, development, automation and AI, we were able to bring all these components together in one solution.

Visually strong at the front, clear & efficient at the back and flexible enough to develop further quickly.
