our approach
Migrating a website isn't a matter of cutting and pasting. If you approach it properly, everything keeps working or even gets better. If you skip steps, you can lose value in terms of SEO, technology or user experience. We map everything out first, make a clear plan and carry out the migration step by step. So your site transfers smoothly, without surprises or loss of performance.

why a website migration?
A migration isn't a ‘nice to have’, but often necessary to move forward. For example because your CMS no longer fits, your website is technically outdated, or your brand or structure is changing. A redesign or a merger of two sites also involves a migration.

frequently asked questions about a website migration
Will I lose my Google rankings during a migration?
Not if you do it properly. We make sure your current pages are redirected neatly (301 redirects), your structure is preserved and your SEO value carries over as much as possible.
Can you also handle the migration of a webshop?
Yes. We also migrate e-commerce platforms. We take products, categories, filters, data and tracking into account. We make sure your shop simply keeps running.
How long does a website migration take?
That depends on the size. A simple site can be migrated in one to two weeks. Larger or complex migrations we plan carefully, usually with a lead time of a few weeks.
Do you only work with certain CMS systems?
No. We have experience with WordPress, Webflow, Joomla, Shopify and custom platforms. Even if you're switching between systems, we make sure the handover goes smoothly.
Can I still access my website during the migration?
Yes. In many cases your existing site simply stays live during preparation. We build the new version in a test environment and only switch over once everything checks out.
