Privacy Policy

This is an English courtesy translation. If there is any difference between this text and the Dutch version, the Dutch version prevails.

What data does BE Digital collect and process?

To serve you as well as possible, we sometimes ask for some personal data, for example when you fill in a contact form, sign up for our newsletter, apply for a job or send a message in our AI chat. Most of the information we ask for is optional: for a contact form only your name and email address are required. We use this data to answer your question properly. In addition, this website collects usage statistics, but only if you give consent in the cookie banner.

What does BE Digital use your data for?

BE Digital uses data for the following purposes:

  • To send you a (themed) newsletter (max 10 times a year), with relevant industry information, the services of BE Digital B.V. and online marketing news
  • To keep improving bedigital.nl
  • To gain insight into how visitors use our website and improve it as a result
  • To tailor www.bedigital.nl to your personal wishes and needs
  • To be able to provide you with a suitable quote, or answer a question
  • To contact you by phone or email following a contact request
  • To process your application and be able to respond
  • To improve the effectiveness of our own marketing activities

If you fill in a contact, quote, product feed analysis, training registration, job application or newsletter sign-up form on the website, or send us an email, the data is kept for as long as is necessary given the nature of the form or the content of the email. Indeed, that is a flexible concept, so feel free to ask us if you want to know about a specific case.

This website uses various tools and systems

BE Digital has deliberately chosen not to publish a list of all the different cookies and pixels here for now. If you would like to see it, this can always be arranged.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter, you can unsubscribe at any time. You can set your cookie preferences in your browser.

Use by third parties

BE Digital will not share your data with third parties without your consent, unless required by law. In the event of a merger or acquisition, BE Digital's data goes with the company. Parties that process data on our behalf (such as hosting, email and analytics) do so solely on our instructions; we have data processing agreements with them or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses apply.

Access, correction and right to object

You can ask us at any time which data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, restrict the processing or object to it, and request your data in a common format. Email info@bedigital.nl for this; we will respond within four weeks.

How long do we keep data?

We keep data from forms and emails for as long as needed to answer your question and complete our services, and after that for a maximum of two years, unless a legal retention period is longer. Application data is kept for four weeks after the procedure ends (up to one year with your consent). Analytics data is deleted by Google according to the configured retention period.

Filing a complaint

Do you disagree with how we handle your data? Please contact us first at info@bedigital.nl. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

Changes

BE Digital reserves the right to change the information on this website (including the text of this page).

Consent for the use of cookies.

To make our website work properly we use cookies. We always place necessary cookies; we only place analytics and marketing cookies if you give consent in our cookie banner. We record your choice in a cookie in your browser (with a random consent ID and the date of your choice) and pass it on to Google (Consent Mode), so Google tags only set cookies if you allow it. You can change your choice at any time on our cookie page.

The legal basis is article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): your consent.

Processors

We have made arrangements with the parties that process data on our behalf that guarantee data of our visitors is only processed on our instructions and in accordance with the GDPR.

Server log files

Our hosting provider automatically collects information in so-called server log files, which your browser sends to us automatically. This covers your IP address, information about your browser and device, the date and time of your visit and the page requested. We use this data for security and to detect faults, and do not keep it longer than necessary.
